Art & Play Therapy
Art and play therapy can help children to address their emotional needs. Art and play in a therapeutic setting encourages the child to learn more about their nervous system, thinking/ behaviour patterns and gain the ability to self-regulate with more frequency.
Parent coaching can help you to gain insight into your approaches and reactions to your child.
Learn to shift your lens and gain skills to manage your child's emotions and behaviours.
Dyad work allows a parent and child to work on attachment needs. Together the parent and child, under guidance of the therapist will learn to co-regulate and express themselves more effectively.
Support for other professions looking for insight and guidance into their practice around neurodiversity, PDA, ODD, ASD, OCD, anxiety and behavioural concerns.
I specialize in art and play based therapy for kids and teens with ASD, ADHD, ODD, PDA, anxiety, depression, and behavioural issues .
I use a client-centred approach to address therapeutic goals such as increased insight, emotional expression/ regulation, better attachment between caregivers and children, management of symptoms such as stress, as well as increased executive functioning.
I have received training in both Art Therapy and Synergetic Play Therapy.
